Shoring & piling component fabrication

A planned fabrication service for the connection hardware and smaller welded assemblies that support shoring and piling installation—not full-size rakers or walers.

Coming soon: Riconstruct is planning a shop fabrication offering. This page describes intended services, subject to equipment, project specifications and capacity at launch.
Built around field experience

Components that fit the job.

Our background is in the installation environment—shoring, piling and field welding. The planned fabrication offering will focus on practical, drawing-led steel components rather than full-length rakers or walers.

Project fabrication will be reviewed against approved drawings, applicable welding procedures, inspection requirements and available shop capacity.

Planned capabilities

Specialized steel components

Typical project-specific components we plan to review for shop fabrication include:

H-pile chair connections

Chair brackets projecting from piles and associated support details to approved project drawings.

T-shaped support connections

T-connections and associated steel connection assemblies used to support shoring components at the wall.

Plates, lugs & stiffeners

Cut steel plates, welded lugs, stiffener plates and connection details required by the approved design.

How we approach projects

Designed by the project. Fabricated to the detail.

We would fabricate to the shoring engineer’s approved drawings rather than independently design load-bearing connections. Plate size, weld size, steel grade, bolt holes and attachment locations must come from the appropriate project documentation.

Small-to-medium components can often be prepared in a shop environment before the field crew needs them, but the installation sequence and any on-site welding still require coordination.

Information to include

  • H-pile and wall connection details
  • Plate dimensions, hole patterns and material grade
  • Connection/weld requirements and inspection hold points
  • Required quantities and site delivery sequence
Planned capabilities

Not full raker or waler fabrication

Riconstruct’s intended shop scope is limited to components that can be safely handled and produced in the available workspace.

Connection-level work

Chairs, connection plates, lugs and reinforcement details.

Field welding experience

Existing mobile welding work gives practical context for access, fit-up and installation sequencing.

Project-specific quoting

We will confirm dimensions, material and shop capabilities before accepting fabrication work.

Planning ahead

Have drawings for a component?

Send the approved details, quantities, material requirements and timeline. We'll discuss whether the planned shop scope is a fit once fabrication operations are ready.
