Excavation-support systems involve demanding site conditions, changing access and tight coordination with the installation crew. With 15 years of shoring experience, Riconstruct understands the practical sequencing of field welds on shoring and deep-foundation sites.

Welded shoring connections and construction sequence

For excavation-support contractors, connection welding is often tied to when the next brace, raker or waler can be installed. Riconstruct coordinates field welding scopes around site access, steel placement and the approved connection details. Common project discussions involve raker-to-waler assemblies, H-pile connection steel, chairs, plates and bracing components. The exact welds are established by the project drawings and specifications.

What to send for a shoring welding quote

Send the site location, planned installation dates, connection drawings, pile and brace sizes, estimated number of connections and photos of the available access. If welding will be completed in stages as excavation progresses, note the anticipated sequence. This helps identify mobilizations and clarify what must be ready before welding begins.
